Fleet commands

How to send your fleet: pick ships, set a target, choose mission, cargo and speed – explained step by step.

Everything your ships do – hauling, attacking, spying, recycling or getting to safety – starts on the Fleet commands page. A fleet command always launches from the planet or asteroid you currently have selected, so switch to the one where your ships are parked first.

Step by step

  1. Pick your ships: Enter the number for each ship type, or use "max." or "Select all ships". A fleet always travels at the speed of its slowest ship.
  2. Set the target: Enter galaxy, system and position. It is quicker to use Favorites & targets, which lists your own planets and saved favorites. You can also plan missions straight from the Galaxy map.
  3. Choose a mission: On the next page the game only offers the missions that are possible with these ships and this target – for example, colonizing only works with a Colony ship on a free position. All missions are explained on the Missions page.
  4. Cargo and speed: Load resources (one by one, with "max." or "All resources") and choose a speed between 10 and 100%. Flying slower saves Spice fuel but takes longer. Distance, flight time, fuel use and arrival time are shown before you launch.
  5. Launch: Hit "LAUNCH" and your fleet takes off. The confirmation shows arrival and return times, and all running flights are listed in your command center.

Fleet slots

How many fleets can be in flight at the same time is set by your Fleet base: each level allows one more fleet action, no matter how many ships a fleet contains. Escape flights and alien attacks take up a slot too. The "available / in use" counter on the fleet page shows how many are still free.

Alliance attacks at a glance

If you take part in an alliance attack, the fleet page lists every running joint attack under Alliance attacks, with target, members and flight time. How to plan one or join in is explained in Alliance attack (AKS).
