The overview
In the Economy menu you can see for the selected planet what each mine, each power plant and your research Mining technology and Energy technology contribute – per hour and per day. It also shows your energy balance, storage capacity and production factor. Raid colonies and asteroids produce nothing – there the page only shows a notice.
The production factor shows how well your planet is supplied with energy. At 100% all mines run at full power. If there is not enough energy, it drops and all mines produce correspondingly less (Energy).
Using the utilization settings you can throttle each mine individually, for example to save energy. The quick actions switch all mines to full production or shut them down at once. Do not forget to save your selection.
A breakdown shows which bonuses are currently active – such as multiple production, building upgrades, VIP, specialization, alliance or event bonuses. The Global tab sums up the production of all your planets.
Problems & warnings
Below the overview, the game lists what is going wrong on the planet – sorted by urgency: not enough energy, full or nearly full storage, a Thermosolar plant without enough Spice, an empty Synth Former or an inactive AI Core, free building upgrade slots or too little Spice for a save flight.
Loading surplus energy
If you own a Particle cannon, a Particle shield, a Teleporter or a Tunnel system at level 40 or higher, you can load surplus energy into one of them – or spread it across all of them with All. On outposts there is also the energy container (Outposts).
