Mentoring program

In the mentoring program, experienced players help newcomers grow – and their alliance earns mentor stars and bonuses for it.

The alliance mentoring program brings new players and experienced alliances together. Newcomers quickly find contacts and help, and the alliance is rewarded for the growth of its young players.

Rookies, mentors and stars

In a participating alliance, smaller accounts count as rookies and big ones as mentors. When a rookie grows, the alliance earns mentor stars – for every point level the rookie reaches for the first time. Points lost along the way, for example through destroyed fleets or demolished buildings, only count again once they have been recovered.

You also get stars from Space Pass rewards of individual members (see Space Pass), from attacks on aliens – especially on Red Black Holes (see Black holes) – and from some alliance events.

The mentor shop

The alliance leadership spends the stars in the mentor shop on bonuses for all members, for example more production for 24 hours or a reduction of the running research. The prices are shown right in the shop. The bonuses apply to members who have been in the alliance for a while and to freshly registered players – so constant alliance hopping does not pay off.

How to take part

The alliance leadership signs the alliance up for the mentoring program in the alliance management. Players without an alliance see all participating alliances in the mentor search – sortable by mentor stars, number of mentors, number of rookies or total points – and can apply right there.
