Sitting (Supervision)
A trusted fellow player looks after your account for up to 24 hours – officially, with a supervisor password.
With sitting (called "Supervision" in the game), another player logs into your account with your permission – for example to do your escape flight when you unexpectedly cannot be online. Sitting is only allowed through this feature: anyone who passes on their login details is guilty of forbidden account sharing and risks a permanent ban.
How to set it up
- Set a supervisor password in the settings (8 to 20 characters). It must never be the same as your normal password.
- Give the supervisor password and your player name to a player you trust.
- Your sitter logs in via the supervisor login in their own settings, using your name or your ID and the supervisor password.
- Set a new supervisor password afterwards – according to the game rules, it has to be reset for every sitting.
Rules and limits
- An account can only be sat once within 7 days, for up to 24 hours or until logout. You yourself can sit someone every 24 hours.
- While you are sitting someone, you cannot sit another account at the same time.
- Many things are blocked during sitting: no attacks, no transports to other players' planets, no recycling and no colonization. In addition, the sitter cannot delete planets, tear down building levels, set a supervisor password, add IP matches or access the alliance, and can only write messages to game operators.
In the settings you can see your sitting status – whether and from when you can be sat again – and an overview of all sittings from the last 4 weeks. Login attempts with a wrong supervisor password are recorded.
