Galaxy map

The galaxy map shows planets, players, debris fields and black holes – and what the planet colors mean.

A universe consists of several galaxies with many solar systems and up to 16 planet positions per system. Under Galaxy you browse through the systems, see who lives where and plan missions straight from the map.

Views

You can choose between several views: Classic and Modern (both 2D), a compact list view for mobile devices, and the 3D map (beta), where you fly freely through the galaxy.

What the colors mean

  • Light red: Players up to two attack zones above or below you. You can attack them – and they can attack you (Points & Attack Zones).
  • Dark red: Players more than two attack zones above you. No attacks are possible in either direction.
  • Blue: Players in vacation mode or more than two attack zones below you.
  • Yellow: Inactive players who have not played for more than 7 days – anyone may attack them. The planets of the computer opponent are yellow as well (Spacia).
  • Green and turquoise: Members of your alliance and allied partners. Purple: Game operators who watch over the game. White: Players in spectral mode (Spectral Mode).

More on the map

  • Debris fields – small grey rocks next to a planet – are waiting for your recyclers (Recycling). Some planets are also orbited by an asteroid.
  • Black holes are the aliens' gateways. The map shows the required attack power, required ships and the reward, and you can plan an attack right there (Black holes).
  • Imperial starbase explosion: If you send an Imperial starbase to a planet in a system, it activates its self-destruct on arrival. The interference stops galaxy scanners from seeing any fleet movements there except colonization flights – for 4 hours plus 1 hour per level of Black hole research.
