Astral fleets

In most universes a destroyed ship is gone forever. In universes with fleet restoration – such as the endless universe Infinity – most of the ships you lose in battle turn into an astral fleet. You can see which universes offer this under Universes.

How it works

• After every battle in which you lose ships, the Astral menu item shows an entry with the date, battle location, opponent and the ships you can bring back.
• A countdown shows when restoration becomes possible. After that one click is enough: the fleet sets off for your planet and lands there like a returning fleet.
• If the original planet no longer belongs to you, the fleet flies to another of your planets.
• If you forget about an astral fleet, it is restored automatically after a while.
• You do not get the entire fleet back, but a large part of it – inactive players get back less.

What this means for you

Battles are less final here: a lost fight mainly costs you time, not your whole fleet. That allows bolder attacks – but your opponent gets their ships back too.
