Destroyer

The destroyer is the warhorse of the late game. In attack, shield and hull it beats every other ship except the imperial starbase. For its price it also delivers a lot of firepower.

Strengths and weaknesses

• + Enormous firepower – it cracks even strong defenses.
• + Very durable thanks to its strong shield and thick hull.
• – Slow: only a few ships are even slower.
• – High fuel consumption per flight.

Destroyers form the hard core of big attack fleets. Because they are slow, they set the pace of the whole fleet – plan your flight time accordingly and keep upgrading your Warp engine.
