Universes

Every universe is a separate game world with its own pace and special features. Here is how to find the right one for you.

SpaceInvasion Classic runs in several universes at the same time. Each one is a world of its own with its own planets, rankings, alliances and events. With your BITMEUP account you can play in several universes – but only with a single account in each.

What the speed means

A universe's speed (1x, 1.5x, 2x, 3x) accelerates resource production as well as construction and research times. The energy of your power plants does not grow with it: you need the same power plants as in a slow universe, and the Thermosolar plant burns correspondingly more Spice. Flight speed can be set separately – the universe overview in the game shows both.

The universes at a glance

  • RETRO – the classic universe with normal speed and the longest history.
  • GeNeSIS 2527 – double speed, many new features and more planets, with a fixed runtime. The speed advantage only applies to levels below the highest level ever reached in this universe – so latecomers catch up faster. Defenses can be dug in here.
  • Nexus – triple speed. Created by merging the DE, INT and RU universes.
  • Sirius – 1.5x speed, a research network (the research labs on all your planets work together) and defenses that can be dug in. Instead of attack zones, a points range applies here (see Points & Attack Zones).
  • Infinity – double speed, defenses that can be dug in, and astral fleets: fleets destroyed in battle become astral fleets that you can restore (Astral fleets).

What they all have in common: the Synth network, the VIP program, a speed bonus for players far behind the top, and the monthly event rotation.

For some universes, a transfer to another universe is offered. You start it with the transfer assistant (see also Spice transfer).
