Small shield dome

A protective shield for your planet: the small shield dome does not attack, but brings a big shield into battle – once per planet.

The small shield dome is not a weapon but a protective shield. Its shield of 3,000 is stronger than that of any gun. You can build it only once per planet. If it is destroyed in battle, you may build it again.

These research topics make it stronger: Shield technology (shield) and Defense systems (hull). The Miner specialization and the Synth network boost the dome's shield even further.

Background

The small shield dome defends against attacks up to a strength of 3,000 structure points, but only one can exist at any time! If it's destroyed, a new shield dome can be built.
