日本語Particle analyzer
The research for particle technology: it unlocks the particle shield, the particle cannon and the interval cannon.
Role
The Particle analyzer is a requirement: Particle shield from level 2, Interval cannon from level 4 and Particle cannon from level 5. For the research itself you need a Research lab at level 6 and Shield technology level 5.
With the Particle shield you protect a planet, with the Particle cannon you attack other planets directly (Particle attack). You charge both with surplus energy (Economy).
Background
Particle research makes it possible to put particles to use. With the aim of forming small, relatively dense cores, the particle analyzer is used to generate a superhypotary mass (in other words, a small and infinitely dense structure). Particles are used in the particle cannon to create a really dense beam, but are also used in the particle shield to form a dense network which is held together in the planetary orbit by gravitation. Just recently it was discovered that this concentrated form of energy can also be utilized to make teleportation possible by bending space and creating a wormhole.
