Why are my mines producing less than I expect?
Do I really need the blast furnace?
You need Metal for almost everything. The Blast furnace produces it from Pig iron, but it uses up more Pig iron than it delivers Metal and takes up building fields and energy. That is why many experienced players prefer to get their Metal from the Merchant. For the tutorial, however, you have to build the Blast furnace.
How many orders fit into the build queue?

What is an escape flight and why is everyone talking about it?
For an escape flight (also called save flight) you send your fleet away together with your resources before going offline – timed so that it only returns once you are back. A fleet in flight cannot be destroyed on the planet, and resources on board cannot be stolen. It is the most important way to protect yourself in the game: Escape flight.
When can I be attacked?

Why can't I attack a certain player?
The game tells you the reason when you send your fleet. Often the target is outside your attack zone, in vacation or spectral mode, under attack protection (up to 10,000 points – this also applies as long as you are still below that), a member of your alliance or an allied partner, or the bash protection limit has been reached. An IP match entry, a recent planet move or an active sitting session also prevent attacks.
How often may I attack the same planet?
At most three times within 24 hours per planet or asteroid. Exceptions are inactive players and targets whose alliance is the target of an ongoing invasion. Attacks on much weaker players can also count as harassment attacks (Points & Attack Zones).
When is a player considered inactive?
Anyone who does not log in for 7 days becomes inactive and appears in yellow in the galaxy. Anyone can attack inactive players, regardless of attack zone and bash protection. If an account stays inactive for a very long time, it is deleted.
I cannot play for a few days – what should I do?
For longer breaks there is vacation mode (2 to 60 days): nobody can launch new attacks on you, but your mines stop producing. For a short absence, another player can do your escape flight via sitting. If you want to keep playing but avoid combat, use spectral mode where it is available.
How many planets can I own?
That depends on the universe. With shop upgrades you can unlock additional colony slots. Raid colonies and event colonies do not count towards this limit (Planets & Asteroids).
How do I get an asteroid?
With a bit of luck, an asteroid forms from the debris field after a battle. It can also appear as a rare prize from the Interdimensional Transmitter. Arranged "astro shots" are allowed. According to the game rules, the defender then has to replace the attacker's losses.
Can I delete or move a planet?
You delete colonies in the settings under the planet settings – not your starting planet, and only if nothing is being built there and no fleet is on its way. To move a planet, you need a planet move (Planet Move).
Can several people from one household play?
Yes, but each person may only have one account per universe, and each account must be played on its own device. If you play over the same internet connection, you have to add an IP match entry in the settings. Attacks, transports, trading and joint alliance attacks between registered players are then forbidden.
Am I allowed to send resources to other players?
Trading is allowed: the official rate is 6 : 2.5 : 3 : 1 (Pig iron : Metal : Kryptonite : Spice) with a deviation of up to 20 %, and a trade must be completed within 24 hours after the first delivery arrives. You may only send resources without anything in return (pushing) to players who have at most 75 % of your points and are not in the top 100 of the overall ranking.
How long may a flight take?
According to the game rules, the outbound flight may take at most 24 hours, as shown in the fleet menu. Exceptions are flights to your own planets and asteroids, colonizations, escape flights, trade flights and all flights to inactive players.
