Transmitter

The transmitter is the most versatile transport & support ship. With 250,000 units of cargo space, one of them replaces more than eight large transports, flies faster and still burns relatively little spice. On top of that, its attack is even higher than a warship's.

Strengths and weaknesses

• + Enormous cargo space at low fuel cost – the freighter for big amounts.
• + It fights too, which makes it ideal as the loot carrier in attack fleets.
• – Expensive to build and only moderately protected for its size.

Transmitters are the backbone of many raids: they bring the loot home and add damage at the same time. Thanks to their diffusion engine they fit well with the Starcruiser and the Phoenix. They are also the first choice for escape flights with large amounts of resources.
